Earn While You Learn is
an 18- week prenatal and newborn-care program to help women
prepare for the arrival of their new baby.
On her first visit, the client meets with a volunteer counselor to enroll in
the program. She then attends class each week for 18 weeks to
complete the program. Clients may enroll in the 18 week program
twice (once per pregnancy).
During
class, the client will watch videos, complete video worksheets and
participate in class discussions. These activities teach good
parenting skills. The women receive points each time they attend
class.
We
hope that the women will be excited about the prospect of earning
while they are learning. |
